Job Opening: DOT Drug Specimen Collector

Location: Mobile
Employment Type: Part-Time/Full-Time

Position Overview

SSCL is seeking a detail-oriented and professional DOT Drug Specimen Collector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting and processing drug and alcohol test specimens in compliance with DOT regulations. This role requires adherence to strict confidentiality and accuracy standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform DOT-regulated drug and alcohol collections according to federal guidelines.
  • Accurately complete and maintain all required documentation, including chain of custody forms.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of specimens.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of collection site and supplies.
  • Provide excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism.
  • Stay current on DOT collection procedures and regulations through ongoing training.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification as a DOT Drug and Alcohol Specimen Collector (or willingness to obtain certification).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including occasional weekends or on-call shifts.

Job Opening: Remote Office Manager

Location: Remote (North Texas preferred)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

SSCL is looking for a highly organized and proactive Remote Office Manager to oversee administrative operations. This role supports our team in maintaining seamless workflows, compliance documentation, and exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily administrative tasks, including scheduling, invoicing, and correspondence.
  • Maintain compliance records and ensure all documentation meets DOT standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and service coordination.
  • Oversee the random testing program and ensure timely selection and notifications.
  • Support onboarding and training of staff as needed.
  • Monitor office supplies and coordinate with vendors for replenishment.
  • Generate reports and provide insights to management for operational improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in office management or administrative roles.
  • Strong knowledge of DOT compliance requirements (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other administrative tools.
  • Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
